Modern Mix is a small project in early testing. Here's what it collects, in plain terms.

When you open a mix

We count visits and what you do on the page: pressing play, skipping songs, opening notes, and which buttons you tap. This tells us what's working.
We don't set cookies, store anything in your browser, or record your screen. Analytics run through PostHog.
Music plays through Spotify's or Tidal's own player, under their privacy policies.

Your list (title, name, picks and notes) is a public page: anyone with its link can see it. We keep it until you delete it.
You don't need an account. Your edit link is saved in your browser; anyone with that link can edit or delete the list, so keep it private.
Delete it any time from the list page ("Delete this list"). If you've lost the edit link, ask and we'll take it down.
Search and previews come from Apple Music. We don't store your searches.

We never use mixes, lists, notes, dedications or anything you upload with AI, including training it, unless you've explicitly said yes. See the AI Policy.

We keep your email, your answers to the questions, and who you'd make a mix for. We use them only to tell you when Modern Mix opens up and to decide what to build. They're stored in our own database (on Cloudflare), not in our analytics.
We don't sell or share them. Ask and we'll delete them.
